Well, close enough. Almost. There still some outside septic gravel and dirt work. And underpinning the tiny house needs to be done soon. Of course, the well must be protected from the winter weather. But, done enough to share some pictures!
The small cabin is gender friendly.
. . . Which is not a politically correct statement. It is decorated in a manner to please both masculine and feminine tastes. Paisley and plaid. Flowers and old gas can. Recliner, hat hook, ladder, and ducks. Battenberg, candles, teapot, and chickens. It’s very cozy.
The dwelling is quite adaptable.
Larry did a fantastic job. So much so that I wanted to use it too. And since Larry is sweet and kind and generous (yes, I’m layering the compliments on purpose), he is willing to share the house with me.
It’s a man cave.
If Larry wants it to be more man cave, we just toss the curtains (on spring loaded rods) in a plastic tub with the couch pillows and shove it under the bed. Then spread the plaid bed blanket, set random tools and sports memorabilia around. Five minutes later – Man cave.
It’s a tiny house.
However, if I want to use it for the ladies, we simply pull out the contents of the tub. Store away the plaid and replace the tools and memorabilia with seasonal décor and voila! Tiny house.
It is that simple.
That’s what so nice about it. It works for both of us. My favorite cabin setup is in the pictures because it means we are spending time together. At the pond. Where it’s quiet. Life is simple. And contentment seems possible.
“Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.” I Timothy 6:6-8 NLT

Wow!! What is the size of the tiny home? It looks so roomy.
Brenda Eoste. It’s a 16×20 building with a porch. The inside is 320 sq ft with a loft that is 128 sq ft. It may be small but is very roomy.
I love it! Nicely done!
