God will. Has a bold ring, doesn’t it?
When uncertainties creep in, you can crush them by reviewing the promises that God makes to his children.
The list is endless, but here are seven that help me.
1. God will use my past, present, and future for his good.
“God will work everything for good for those who love him and are called.” Romans 8:28 NLT
2. God will not lose sight of me.
“You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.” Psalm 139:1-2 NLT
3. God will give me wisdom.
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1: 5 NLT
4. God will confirm his will.
The list of how God confirms his will is endless. Here’re some examples
Visual: Exodus 3:1-22 – Moses and the burning bush
Audible: I Samuel 3:4-18 – calling Samuel while an assistant to Eli
Mental: II Samuel 12: 10-19 – Nathan’s example to David
Physical: Numbers 14:20-23 – wondering in the wilderness
5. God will never contradict himself.
“Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.” I John 4:1 NLT
6. God will want me to depend on Him.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT
7. God will be glorified.
“Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.” Revelations 15:4 NLT
