Mary, The Mother of Jesus
In the stillness of a humble stable, where shadows danced with flickering light, Mary, the mother of Jesus, beheld a sight that stirred her soul. Like whispers in the wind, her thoughts settled in awe as she cradled the newborn child.
Oh, how her heart trembled with tender joy, gazing upon his tiny face, innocent and pure. She traced the lines of his delicate features as if capturing eternity in her touch. With this, she saw a universe unfolding in his eyes, a reflection of divine grace and mercy, and she pondered the miracle before her, this child, born of heaven’s embrace.
In that sacred moment, Mary’s thoughts danced, a symphony of joy echoing through the chambers of her soul. Above all, she marveled at the honor bestowed upon her, chosen to cradle the Savior. With every breath, she whispered thanks for the privilege of birthing the Light of the world.
As much as she was filled with joy, a bittersweet melody began in her heart. For she knew a path lay ahead of trials and sorrows that would mark her beloved son’s journey. For fear that a sword of sorrow would pierce her soul as he walked the way of suffering.
But in that moment, she set aside the weight of worry, embracing the present and cherishing the gift in her arms.
As the whispers of angels’ songs lingered, Mary’s thoughts turned to the world beyond that stable’s narrow walls. She pondered the impact of her son’s life, the ripples of his love that would reach far and wide. She envisioned hearts transformed, brokenness made whole, and the weary finding solace because of God’s divine plan.
In the stillness of that holy night, Mary whispered her prayers to the heavens, surrendering her precious son to the will of the Father, knowing that his purpose surpassed her understanding. For this reason, she entrusted him to the hands that had woven the fabric of the cosmos, believing that her child would fulfill destiny’s plan.
Thus, a symphony of emotions played on in the depths of Mary’s soul. She cradled her Savior with a mother’s tenderness, knowing that he was not only hers but a gift to the world.

The Magnificat: Mary’s Song of Praise
For the Mighty One is holy, and he has done great things for me.
He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones. He has brought down princes from their thrones and exalted the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich away with empty hands.
He has helped his servant Israel and remembered to be merciful.
For he made this promise to our ancestors, to Abraham and his children forever.” Luke 1:46-55
